This mat is like a gold magnet!
Even fine dust remains on it.
The small rubber blocks hold the gold and
guide it into the depressions where it settles well. Interesting
heavy minerals such as garnet, zircon, etc. can also be easily caught with the mat.
It can be used with or without expanded metal and can be very well combined
with other gold traps.
Pre-screening of river sediment is not
absolutely necessary here, but it is useful for washing fine gold. The Vortex
mat works with very low flow rates and does not clog, which is a great advantage
for fine gold washing compared to other mats!
